News: Assassin's Creed Revelations: Animus Edition and Collectors Edition hitting the UK

The UK is getting two special editions of Assassin's: Creed Revelations this November 15th. CVG has reported the complete breakdown of what each edition has on offer. The "Animus Edition" will retail at £59.99 for PC and £68.99 for consoles and is available exclusively on the Ubisoft Store. Exclusive to the "Animus Edition" is an in-depth encyclopaedia detailing important characters and locations from throughout the Assassin's Creed universe, a special "Aniums Edition" box with seal that requires breaking to enter, the Brutus Armour from Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood and capacity upgrades for the hidden gun, crossbow and bombs.

The "Collector's Edition" will retail at £39.99 for PC and £49.99 for consoles as reported by retailer GAME. Included in the "Collector's Edition" is a special "Collector's Edition" box with Assassin's seal, a 50 page artbook, and the game's original soundtrack.

Both editions will come with an animated movie: Assassin's Creed: Embers; two additional multiplayer characters: The Crusader and the Ottoman Jester; and finally the explorable tomb of Vlad the Impaler where you can retrieve his legendary dagger for your own stabby, stabby use.

If you are a bit perturbed that you can't get the soundtrack, artbook and encyclopaedia in order to be the ultimate Assassin, then fear not for your wallet! Joystiq have reported that the Ubiworkshop are also selling the encyclopaedia, saving you from buying more than one copy of the game.
