News: Deus Ex: Human Revolution getting "Missing Link" DLC

Where's my DLC at...beeatch?

There's something wonderful about fan based communities - even more so when developers embrace said communities.  As reported over at Siliconera following a series of teases that first appeared on the Deus Ex: Human Revolution menu screen the community busied itself unveiling the truth behind the cryptic messages.

In short, the message was a tease for upcoming DLC which has now been confirmed on the official site as The Missing Link, and is dated for an October release.  The DLC will see Adam removed of his augmentations (ala Metroid) and relying solely on new allies and skills in order to escape a mysterious ship in which you have found yourself captured.

The DLC promises: sprawling new environments, brand new characters, new conspiracies to unravel and perhaps the most interesting of all: the chance to build Adam's augmentations up from scratch and create an entirely new Adam!

There's currently no price announcement for the DLC but we will be sure to let you know as soon as we find out.
